First Step Championship MMA&K1
ABOUT THE FEDERATION
We are one of the main partners of the First Step Championship (FSC) Federation. It is a Polish combat sports organization established in 2019, created out of the need to provide a space where young MMA and K-1 fighters could take their first steps in professional sports. The debut gala took place on June 16, 2019, and since then FSC has been consistently developing, organizing events in various cities across northern Poland, such as Bytów, Lębork, Reda, Chojnice, Koszalin, Rumia, Iława, and Brodnica.
Each gala combines both amateur and professional bouts, making the federation a kind of bridge between the amateur sports scene and larger-scale professional federations. Thanks to this, many young fighters have the opportunity to showcase their skills to a wider audience in a setting similar to that offered by leading organizations.
FSC Achievements
Over the years, FSC has built a recognizable brand, and its events have become an important fixture on the local combat sports scene. Main card fights increasingly attract athletes with international experience, which raises the prestige of the events and allows Polish fighters to test themselves against foreign opponents. A good example is the FSC 11 gala in Bytów in 2025, where Rafał Błachuta defeated Wallison Henrique in the main event, and Robert Maruszak scored a spectacular knockout against Ville Forström. Achievements like these strengthen the federation’s reputation as a place where talents from smaller gyms can prove their skills and earn opportunities for further advancement. In this way, First Step Championship not only develops the Polish MMA and K-1 scene but also helps promote combat sports in smaller towns, becoming an important part of the local community and an inspiration for future generations of fighters.
